Kids' Company provides enrichment opportunities for preschool age children 48 months through the first day of kindergarten. Children must be fully potty trained to attend. Our aim is to provide a program that will complement both the home and school experiences of the children enrolled. The program is certified by the Department of Human Services (DHS), NAEYC accredited and 4 star Parent Aware rated.
School Year: September - May (Currently Waitlisted)
Summer: June - August (Registration opens March 2024)
Days and Hours: Monday - Friday from 6:45 am - 5:30 pm
ACTIVITES:
Children enrolled in the Kids' Company program will participate in various activities such as: art, science, reading, cooking, math games, and more. As well as time in the gym and outside every day!
Goals of our 4-5 Year Old Preschoolers
- Focusing on kindergarten readiness- teaching children foundations for a successful elementary transition.
- Encouraging meaningful learning experiences, and instilling a sense of responsibility, leadership, and independence.
- Focusing on problem solving, responsive listening, language skills and social skills.
- Introducing a more structured curriculum and new academic concepts in language, literacy, mathematics, and science.
- Providing opportunities for children to gain a sense of self-reliance and independence.
